Winning (and being unstoppable) with Martin Sheen in Hollywood

By Rebecca Wojcinski

What does it really take to pursue an enduring show biz career?

LSY!’s Hollywood reporter Emilie Hagen was talking to celebrities about just that at the Unstoppable Gala in Los Angeles.

The event supported the Unstoppable Foundation, which brings education and warm meals to children in poor nations.

Legendary actor Martin Sheen talked to her about the “mystery” of acting, which he discovered when he was very young.

“I knew that if I didn’t pursue whatever this mystery was, that I would never be happy, and I’d never live an honest life,” he said.

Martin went on to say that everyone has a little voice inside them that is guiding their path. But, he says, “They lose it along the way because they don’t listen to the voice inside,” he said.

So listen to that voice.

And to the other celebrities we met on the carpet.

Jacklyn Betham, who was on the red carpet with castmate John Schneider of The Haves and Have Nots, said, “You have to be proactive and have discipline and actually do it.”

Emilie also talked to Natalia Regan, host of 10 Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty, who advised aspiring entertainers to “create your own content.”
